Although Samuel Morris was filled with the Holy Spirit and worked mighty signs and miracles, his ultimate goal was to be formally educated in Theology in the US and return to Africa to share the Gospel. The Samuel Morris Theology Scholarship for Africans aims to foster formal training in theology for African missionaries and pastors to help them better preach the whole counsel of God
To be eligible for this Scholarship, applicants must meet and adhere to the following criteria
Salvation is the free gift of God. To be saved, one must hear the Gospel of Jesus, acknowledge that they are sinners and according to Acts 2:38 “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.”
